Manufacturing Cupper tooling since the 1970s, Datum recognises how critical dimensional accuracy and surface finish play in this key part of the food and beverage can production process. Datum only uses recognised industry leaders with proven track records for sourcing the required carbide grades.

In addition to manufacturing round and non-round tooling, Datum offers a complete refurbishment service on all contact tooling including supplying ‘laser’ cut shims. This allows customers to make further cost savings by extending tool life. The latest ‘state of the art’ inspection equipment enables Datum to be confident in meeting or exceeding customers' expectations.
